Remote 8-10-2021 PB Meeting

300 FORE STREET

To Residents and Property Owners:  The Planning Board will hold a REMOTE public hearing to consider a change of use at 300 Fore Street in order to permit the occupancy of 63,841 square feet of floor area within the building by the Maine Law School and related programs.  No exterior changes to the building are proposed.  The subject property is 12,293 square feet in size, is zoned B-3 Downtown Business, and is within the Old Port Historic District.  Public comments will be taken at this meeting.  Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov. Please refer to the document, Guide to Public Participation in the Planning Board Process, for revised procedures for public comment which can be found at http://www.portlandmaine.gov/551/Development-Review.

To Residents and Property Owners:  The Planning Board will hold a REMOTE public hearing to consider an amendment to the approved site plan and subdivision for a four-story mixed-use building within the India Street Form-based Code Zone.  The amendment includes six new on-street parking spaces on India Street as well as revisions to the sidewalk amenities and site improvements to accommodate loading and service vehicles.  Public comments will be taken at this meeting.  Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov. To Residents and Property Owners:  The Planning Board will hold a REMOTE workshop to consider an application for Phase 2 of Stevens Square, including 140 multi-family dwelling units to be housed within four new five-story buildings totaling 201,640 square feet of floor area, along with associated site improvements.  The subject property, located at 65 McAuley Way, is 7.05 acres in size and is zoned R-5 and R-5a Residential.  The workshop is an opportunity for the applicant to present a plan to the Planning Board in an informal session which is open to the public. Public Comments will be taken at this meeting. Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov.
