City Launches "Ask the Code Officer" Appointments on Thursday Mornings

Ask the Code Officer

Starting November 16, the City of Portland's Permitting and Inspections Department will offer the opportunity for customers to meet with a Code Enforcement Officer for 30 minutes and ask questions. Appointments are available from 9 am to 12 pm every Thursday morning. Please contact 207-874-8703 or to schedule.

“The goal of this initiative is to provide accessible and excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns about a building project or building code question,” said Michael Russell, Director of the City’s Permitting & Inspections Department.
